Historia lądowania

Historia lądowania to instalacja inspirowana filmami "Stalker" i "Solaris" Andrieja Tarkowskiego (a także ich literackimi pierwowzorami - "Piknikiem na skraju drogi" braci Strugackich i powieścią Stanisława Lema).
Duet Woynarowski / Mikurda bada centralny w obu filmach motyw niezwykłego, fascynującego miejsca, wyróżnionej przestrzeni, która - w zależności od perspektywy - jawi się jako portal do innego świata lub ekran mentalnych projekcji bohaterów.
Instalacji towarzyszy film found footage, który zastępuje typowy tekst kuratorski.

The Story of Landing

The Story of Landing is an installation inspired by the films Stalker and Solaris by Andrey Tarkowski (and their literary originals - Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers and the novel by Stanisław Lem).
The duet Woynarowski/Mikurda explores the central for both films motive of an unusual and fascinating place, a distinguished space which – depending on the perspective – appears as a portal to the other world or a screen for the mental projections of the characters.
The installation is accompanied by the found footage which plays here the role of typical curatorial description.
